Ok so time to get my game face on! After reading a few blogs and having some time out, I'm ready to climb back into my Battlesuit once more and lay down some lives for the greater good.

My Games Workshop history goes back a good 14 years almost to when I got my first models. I was initially an Epic player who used Squats, they were rock solid and kicked many an ass at my local Gaming Club. I drifted in and out of collecting over the next good few years, eventually ending up playing a lascannon heavy Imperial Fist army in 3rd edition. Due to switching out my painting desk for a PC desk I stopped playing for almost 4 years and totally missed everything that was 4th edition.
After starting a new job in 2008 I found out that many people there played 40k and a few of them were starting new armies. As I had foolishly flung out almost all my Imp Fist models, I decided that I would start a new army too. I've always been a sucker for anything mecha related, and wanted the get the hell away from Space Marines. After checking over the various armies out there I decided it was time to gather the Cadre and power up the Crisis Suits, the Von'ryn Sept of the Third Sphere would be going to war.

Well, I'm a twenty something Scotsman who moved to Ireland in September 2008.
I have an awesome job in the Computer Games industry and I'm looking forward to a long career where I am, and hoping that I stay with the team of people I work with for as long as possible.
I've started this blog as I need somewhere to get things out my head and also somewhere that I can write about my experiences with my World of Warcraft characters and my newly started Tau army for Warhammer 40,000.
There will be no standard pattern to how the posts work, so if you become a fan of any 1 specific area I apologise in advance if it takes a few posts for you to get an update!
For 2010 my resolutions are to drop about 3 stone, give up drinking and perhaps see about getting a car. I'll be passing up a trip to America this year in order to put aside some personal savings. Something I've not even considered since i moved to Ireland. Right now I'm home for Hogmany (New Year in Scotland) and when I get back to Ireland I'll be hitting the gym hard!!

Well this is going to be my combination blog for me, my hobbies and my life.
The blog will mainly focus on my Warhammer 40,000 army, my World of Warcraft character's and also my kinda mixed up, procrastination heavy life.
