New gear for the Paladin

Went into VoA 25 man (That's Vault of Archavon for non WoW players) today and these drop Sanctified Lightsworn Gauntlets. Master Looter asks for people to roll, me and 3 other pallys roll, with two of them saying "it's not my MS" I roll an awesome 2 :(
Master Looter gets a bit annoyed and then says ok, MS roll - So me and the other Ret Pally roll off against each other with me winning this time! \o/
Other Retadin rightly enough is a little angry as he won the 1st roll. "Best of 3 then? I don't mind" Ever the honourable chap i'm happy to roll again. Another roll is done straight away and I win again! \o/
Sadly I had only been playin the Pally to get a 2nd piece tier 10 and now i've got a new item, it s a total anti climax! End game is kina frustrating now as all manner of idiots are raiding and many people are just leveling alts or farming gold for the new expansion. Come Cataclysm i'm going to level a Goblin Shammy and level my Hunter and Pally to 85. Still not got solid plans for what server i'll be on or who i'll be raiding with, If I stay Alliance I think i'd like to stay on the Paladin. If I'm Horde, I'm desperate to have a end game Goblin and would love the Hunter to be Goblin, he'll look awesome with the pets. If I find that Shammy is more fun (Could be difficult, I've been a hunter for 4+ years now and love them loads) then i'll be playing a Elemental Shammy.

New XV9 Crisis Suits from Forgeworld

Adam on Warhammer Tau just posted this up about 2 hours ago. Forgeworld have released what looks like 3 new, or at least 3 conversion/weapons packs for the XV9. (for someone who's not going to play Tau till the next codex, his site is still one I visit daily and jump to whenever I see it updated in the blogroll ^^ )
The vector thrusts have been removed and each of them appears to be sporting different shoulder modules. The also all come with different pairs of weapons.

Left one, going from the modules/collant nodes at the rear of the guns looks like it's armed with the Ion Weapon people have read about from the Imperial Armour, Apocalypse II. Middle one has the long open end of the railgun weapon which means the one on the right has the Fusion "Cascade" I think it's called.
Middle one also appears to be a new commander model, there is a tau symbol on the chest and a new helm. It reminds me of the main Tau character in Dawn of War with the random unreleased Stealth Suit.

I'm a mixed bag with these to be honest. The guns on the right one look a bit crap, more really like a bad conversion using WW1 machine gun part. Also after having built my own XV9, Forge World learned nothing from GW with regards to the feet for this model. Just like the Xv8, they stand in a horrible way and getting the feel onto the base/onto the model can lead to much swearing and superglued fingers to models.

Withdrawl

It's been 6 days now since I last played WoW. I'll be honest it's doing my head in. I've missed out on 12 Emblems of Frost from the dailys alone, I never did last week's weekly raid quest either :(
First on the list will be a new belt, Band of the Night Raven. It's a massive upgrade to one I have currently, Belt of Rotted Fingernails.
After that i think I'll save up for 2 x t10 items. While I remember, I need to change my spec a bit to slide in silencing shot, it's a handy shot in a pinch and isn't on the global cooldown so it really should be macro'd in my shots somewhere.

I'm actually looking really forward to getting the Loladin leveled to 80, a mate suggested just sticking with ret for randoms and picking up healing gear when I get to 80. They've played a healing pally for a while now (was previously in a top end horde guild) so he's going to show me the ropes.
Future plans for the Pally is to have him as ret mainspec and healing offspec, then in Cataclysm I'm going to level a Worgen Warrior so I have a tank (don't want to do everything on the Pally!)

I'm planning on getting a new PC at some point in the first quarter of 2010, initially the Christmas bonus was going to go on it, but I'd rather get some loose ends back home covered with that and make sure my gym membership is renewed first.
The PC will be scratch built, basically it's the gamer rig that PC Gamer UK recommend in their monthly magazine but with a few upgrades, and some stuff dropped that I don't need as I've already got better (keyboard, mouse, headset)
